Forward Integration Engineer

What is a Forward Deployed Engineer?
An FDE works directly with customers to understand complex problems, build technical solutions, integrate them into existing systems and support deployment and adoption.
No. It's an employment pathway. You're hired first, then trained through intensive, practical work in applied AI engineering and enterprise delivery.
FIE is a 14-week track for engineers with 2–3 years of experience, focused on integration, cloud, and APIs before AI deployment. FDE is a 10-week track for engineers with 5+ years of experience, ready to lead client discovery, architecture, and live AI deployment.
You don't need to choose. Submit one application, and our technical team will place you based on your experience and assessment results.
No. You need a strong technical foundation, problem-solving ability, and the capacity to learn quickly. The FDE Handbook covers eligibility in full.
Yes. You're a paid Red Alpha employee throughout training, not a student. Compensation and benefits are shared with qualified applicants during the process.
You'll work on Red Alpha initiatives or customer projects, matched to your skills, experience, performance, location, and business need.
Yes. Red Alpha covers your salary and training, so we ask for a minimum service period in return. You'll see the exact terms in writing before you accept.
